Indoor family session
On this cloudy/rainy day I would like to post a recent indoor session we had in the month of January. The Wilborn family holds a special place in our hearts. Amy and Trey are about to have a new addition to their sweet family of three. Meanwhile, Reese is enjoying all the cuddles as a single child before her little brother comes along. This session was all indoors with natural lighting. In my opinion, there is no better session than to be in the comfort of your own home!
The last few weeks we had in Costa Rica were precious. Together, Brian and I were part of a great adventure visting people within the country and being a part of their lives through meals and get togethers. We felt that the closer we got to leaving the country, the closer to people we were getting to. It was during this time that we met the Esquivel family. Don Jonny, as we would call him, is a coffee plantation owner in Moravia, San José. We met him because of coffee, but we got much more. Long story short, we ended up taking inside family pictures at their eldest daughter's house, whose home is full of natural light. I think it's also safe to say that this family is completely in love with their new addition, and well, what's not to love? Carlos Luis is a bundle of extreme cuteness! Enjoy the Esquivel Family :)
Yet another indoor session on the blog!
I love having friends from all cultures. I met Ilknur at a friends baby shower one day and completely fell in love with her kindness and personality. I hadn't seen her throughout her whole pregnancy and this week I went to say goodbye before I depart to Chile. Her son, Yusuf is already 3 months old! I hate to miss so many memories of people I wish I was closer to, but in the end I know I am privileged to live the life I do. Ilknur and her husband are from Turkey, she has a bachelor’s in early developmental education and is currently pursuing her master’s degree! She is a kind and gentle soul. She says that Yusuf makes her smile every day. She loves motherhood. We had a sweet time together in which Ilknur and I just chatted, took some candid pictures and talked about our lives and family. It is incredible how similar we really are no matter where we come from. Enjoy this indoor session :)
