The Lopez Wedding

She prayed for rain on her wedding day and so it happened. Yet, she got the best of both worlds as the sun started creeping in just in time for the ceremony. From a star wars dance off to a surprise piñata for the groom, this wedding will have you laughing as you scroll through the post ceremony images. I don’t think i’ve ever been part of such a fun spirited wedding. Maybe I have, but this one holds a special place in my heart because Allison and Jovanny are more than a bride and groom; they are pretty much family.

It was privilege to document their wedding. Enjoy.

Minnick Family Session

A quick glance at this session and you wouldn’t know that we were all sweating in what felt like 100 degree plus weather, and that we were attacked by mosquitoes. Despite the gift of humidity, we made it through and the Minnick family session was a success. As always, I try to to have a few shots of mom and dad during their family session. I’m in love with the chemistry between these two. While I was holding Jace with my left arm, I was clicking away with my right. When the husband is out of the country and you’re flying solo, then I need to work for two am I right? hahaha.

These last couple of weeks have been very productive and busy in our photography. We have a lot to share. For now, please enjoy this sweet family session.

Erwing + Melissa

Erwing and Melissa are one of those “i feel like i’ve known y’all for a long time” kind of couple. They were timeless; serene.

At a quick glance you would never know that they have waited almost two years to be together. Politics and countries have tried to stand in their way, yet their love has prevailed. For their engagement session we took a walk around the museum district. They must have had favor from above because the Glassell School of Art allowed us to capture a few shots inside their building. I was beyond ecstatic to be documenting inside such beautiful architecture.

We finished our session at the good ole Hermann Park. After a full week of cloudy and rainy days the sun showed up for us just in time. October can’t come soon enough!

¡Felicades Erwing y Melissa! Nos vemos pronto en el matri ;)
