Just a few days before we left San José, the Adams and us managed to squeeze in a quick thirty minute family session. Back at home...this is what we would call a "mini session". The Adams were missionaries in Costa Rica for a little more than a year. Now, they find themselves in the west coast, enjoying a new season that will eventually lead them to serve in another country. This family has a servant heart and a genuine desire to serve the nations. I pray that they may find a place that is above their wildest dreams. Let me introduce you to Micah, Karissa, Elijah and Raeah.
Los Esquivel
The last few weeks we had in Costa Rica were precious. Together, Brian and I were part of a great adventure visting people within the country and being a part of their lives through meals and get togethers. We felt that the closer we got to leaving the country, the closer to people we were getting to. It was during this time that we met the Esquivel family. Don Jonny, as we would call him, is a coffee plantation owner in Moravia, San José. We met him because of coffee, but we got much more. Long story short, we ended up taking inside family pictures at their eldest daughter's house, whose home is full of natural light. I think it's also safe to say that this family is completely in love with their new addition, and well, what's not to love? Carlos Luis is a bundle of extreme cuteness! Enjoy the Esquivel Family :)
The Henrys
After what seemed like an eternity, I finally was able to shoot a session by the beach. The Henrys are a fellow missionary family whose hearts are set to Cochabamaba, Bolvia. They are a family of five currently studying here at CINCEL to learn Spanish so that in return they may have a fuller impact in Bolivia. I have never met such a sweet family that is 100 percent devoted to knowing Jesus and making Him known. Their kids: Kaitlynn, Nathaniel and Faith are some of the best missionary kids out there. Bolivia won't know what to do with them; they are so precious!
On this special photoshoot we decided to get together as students and go on a day trip to the beach, near Manuel Antonio National Park. If you have never been to Costa Rica, Manuel Antonio is a must! It will conquer your heart. We started out with a hot, humid sunny day, but by the afternoon the mood had changed and it's cloudy weather made for beautiful family pictures.
