Adcock Wedding

It’s been a while since I have posted, but I choose to celebrate the coming wedding season with last year’s ultimate fall wedding. This bride and groom had a DYI backyard wedding; their unique personalities filled every detail. These two humans made love look easy. The bride, elegant in every way, seemed to draw every eye that fell on her. There was no greater vision than these two on the dance floor.

One of the things that stood out to me during this day was the sunset. The first picture below showcases the feel of the night. Vibrant, yet moody colors, enunciated the evening. If you’re a future bride, this intimate wedding will leave you inspired to pursue the quiet nosltagic feeling of a fall backyard whimsical wedding.

It's been a minute...

I realize as I write this that my last post has been since January of this year. It goes to show that life has been busy for the most part. It definitely has not been slow in business, but time was not always on my side to dedicate time to the blog. The summer is coming and with it new adventures. I have a few weddings on the horizon and I am so excited to be sharing those stories soon.

For now, I would love to share Stephanie and Kevin’s story. If you have been a follower of Los Castro, you may remember their engagement and weddings pictures. Stephanie trusted me with her graduation pictures so many moons ago, and now I am here to document such a special stage in her life- Maternity. In honor of all the momma’s out there, please enjoy this beautiful session. May is for momma’s; happy mother’s day!

The Clevelands- Maternity Session

We have known Michael and Amanda for quite some time now and It was with great joy that I got to document their maternity session. You see, they currently live in Colorado, but on a quick trip to Texas they decided to take a chance on us. And oh how glad we were! Maternity sessions are usually taken in open fields, with a lot of green colors; however, the Clevelands wanted something a little different. I like different! So we went ahead and chose downtown Houston for their session. With a little bit of walking, we ventured out to some city streets and ending it with a mix of a vintage feel at the Heritage Society, Sam Houston Park. The more and more I get to document in Houston, the more I fall in love with this city. Congrats to Amanda and Michael on their baby girl!
