Strange Wedding

The strange wedding was a normal Texas 100 degree plus weather; how could we expect less? Regardless, It could not stop Kylee and Grag from a beautiful meaningful union. I had known Kylee back when we were living in Chile,; she was then a young girl preparing for what will be her last year of high school. Her venturing out to Texas alone was a radical change that will eventually lead her to Gragory. What a story.

I don’t consider myself to be one of the greats, but every now and then I have had clients who’ve wanted me, specifically, for their wedding. They knew before I knew. I hold that dear to my heart; I don’t take this lightly. Kylee chose me, for that I am grateful. When you feel valued, you tend to give your all. On this day, I gave my all. Thank you Kylee and Grag for choosing me.

Lagrone Wedding- Jarrett + Kayla

Think about the moment that your story was just as it should be. The moment where you realized that life finally worked out. That somehow, in the middle of chaos, peace was able to find you and comfort you. That feeling I just mentioned; that’s THIS story. Kayla and Jarret found each other at a time where they needed each other the most. It’s a when Harry met Sally story. Love did not find its way until it was meant to be. I’m glad they finally found each other.

This wedding was a special one for me. It was my first wedding since COVID. I was anxious, but overall, ecstatic. My friend Amanda joined me as a second shooter and as a videographer. Throughout the day we recorded small clips of their love story, and in the end, we came up with a pretty special highlight video. Below, you can view their love story in video and photo formats. Enjoy this small glimpse of a true love story.

It's been a minute...

I realize as I write this that my last post has been since January of this year. It goes to show that life has been busy for the most part. It definitely has not been slow in business, but time was not always on my side to dedicate time to the blog. The summer is coming and with it new adventures. I have a few weddings on the horizon and I am so excited to be sharing those stories soon.

For now, I would love to share Stephanie and Kevin’s story. If you have been a follower of Los Castro, you may remember their engagement and weddings pictures. Stephanie trusted me with her graduation pictures so many moons ago, and now I am here to document such a special stage in her life- Maternity. In honor of all the momma’s out there, please enjoy this beautiful session. May is for momma’s; happy mother’s day!
