A few days ago I went to visit my friend Naz. She and I met in 2010 when I had recently graudated from Sam. I felt pretty lonely and wasn't so sure about my career decision. I honestly felt like a failure. But somehow, working at Cole, meeting Naz, and being around a new atmosphere gave me hopes. I didn't know that I was to meet Brian and transfer to another location. I didn't know that Naz was to get married as well and move to Connecticut. But somehow in the midst of all this change, we kept in touch. Her efforts were much higher than mine, and I always appreciated that. I love Naz and I love that I get to hang out with her when she visits Houston. She will always hold a special place in my heart. Now, she has two beautiful baby girls. Her session was unique. It was spontaneous; a "spur of the moment" session. The most intriguing part was that it was indoors! Sakina is two and half years old while her baby sister Noor is four months old. You can see Sakina wearing a traditional Salwar Kameez from India towards the end of this blog. She was happy to wear it and show of her spunky self in her traditional Indian clothing.
The Belman Wedding
My friend Jenny is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet. When I learned she was having an intimate wedding with family only, I couldn't help but be part of her story. Jenny has studied in Wisconsin for the past three years getting her degree in graphic design. Her boyfriend Jose had been in Houston all this time. The question remained, where will they spend the next and final year? Jenny and Jose had to make a decision; did they want to wait another year or were they ready to move on together? The answer was: lOVE wins. This post is a perfect example of our philosophy, no little people and no little places. Congrats to Jose and Jenny!
Inside Session- Sakina + Noor
Have you ever considered an indoor session for your children? If not, then you should! Today I went to visit my friend Naz; she has two beautiful baby girls. Her house is full of natural light and today's cloudy weather made it for a perfect indoor session. This is a small sneak peek of what is to come. Sakina is 2 1/2 years old and baby Noor is four months :) Can't wait to share more!
