Adcock Wedding

It’s been a while since I have posted, but I choose to celebrate the coming wedding season with last year’s ultimate fall wedding. This bride and groom had a DYI backyard wedding; their unique personalities filled every detail. These two humans made love look easy. The bride, elegant in every way, seemed to draw every eye that fell on her. There was no greater vision than these two on the dance floor.

One of the things that stood out to me during this day was the sunset. The first picture below showcases the feel of the night. Vibrant, yet moody colors, enunciated the evening. If you’re a future bride, this intimate wedding will leave you inspired to pursue the quiet nosltagic feeling of a fall backyard whimsical wedding.

Astrid + Edwin

Here we are, it’s the end of 2024. This year has proven to be a year of growth in our business. This is the year that I will remember as quitting my full time job and becoming a full time photographer, as well as a homeschool teacher to my little one. This is the year that our faithful clients delivered. We will forever be grateful.

Towards the end of the year, Astrid and Edwin approached me to ask if I would take their wedding pictures. They told me it was an intimate wedding, nothing glorious or fancy, but they simply wanted to be with their loved ones. Astrid told me the venue was not the greatest venue, but I just smiled. Nothing is too little or too less for such a special moment. We made magic happen. There is no wedding I would say no to, as long as the client respects the art of the photographer. I have always been blessed with such great clients. They encourage me to go forward; my confidence grows as they place their trust in me. I do not take this lightly. So 2025 is soon approaching, and perhaps you’re planning a wedding and think you don’t deserve a photographer. But yes you do. We can make it happen, and when it does- you’ll be glad you invested. 2025, be kind and gentle, but also bring forth boldness and strength.

Lagrone Wedding- Jarrett + Kayla

Think about the moment that your story was just as it should be. The moment where you realized that life finally worked out. That somehow, in the middle of chaos, peace was able to find you and comfort you. That feeling I just mentioned; that’s THIS story. Kayla and Jarret found each other at a time where they needed each other the most. It’s a when Harry met Sally story. Love did not find its way until it was meant to be. I’m glad they finally found each other.

This wedding was a special one for me. It was my first wedding since COVID. I was anxious, but overall, ecstatic. My friend Amanda joined me as a second shooter and as a videographer. Throughout the day we recorded small clips of their love story, and in the end, we came up with a pretty special highlight video. Below, you can view their love story in video and photo formats. Enjoy this small glimpse of a true love story.
